Celtic School of Sound Healing
The Celtic School of Sound Healing provides training in Sound Therapy from Foundation to Advanced Practitioner Certification and to Advanced Diploma Awards. It also provides one-to-one treatments, Group Sound Meditations, and facilitates at Festivals, Retreats and Corporate Events.
The Celtic School of Sound Healing incorporates learning from the Celtic and Pre-Celtic Shamanic culture and spiritual practices of Ancient Ireland into its’ curriculum which fully compliments and enhances the study of Sound Healing in our modern world today.
The Celtic School of Sound Healing is an approved member of the Sound Healing Association of Ireland and the Federation of Irish Complementary Therapy Associations.

Carmel Diviney lives in Dublin, Ireland and is a Montessori Teacher, Reiki Master, Sound Healing Practitioner, author and recording artist. Her interests range from shamanism and earth energy healing to crystals, herbalism and aromatherapy; she also has a keen interest in history, archaeology and environmental concerns.
Carmel offers one to one Sound Healing and Reiki treatments as well as tuition and a variety of workshops and training courses. As well as facilitating at Gatherings and Events, Carmel facilitates a Sound Healing and Meditation Circle every 1st Friday of the month in Swords, Co. Dublin; a powerful group journey of inner healing with Singing Bowls, Gongs, Harp, Flute, Drum, Tuning Forks and Solfeggio Healing Pipes.
In 2014 she published a book about Tara and the M3 Motorway debacle, Tara Calling- “The Desecration of a Sacred Landscape”, which received high praise. That same year she also published two CDs: a Sound Healing and Meditation CD for deep relaxation and a Relaxation and Sleepytime Meditation for Children 3+.
Carmel is a qualified Herbalist having graduated from Brighid’s Academy of Healing Arts. Herbalism is the study of plant medicine and how it can bring about homeostasis and healing. Herbs can be used in an holistic way to nourish, fortify the immune system, heal disease and enhance life. Conditions that can be treated successfully with indigenous herbs include those of the respiratory, digestive, circulatory and hormonal systems as well as stress disorders etc. Herbal Consultations start at €50 and inlude a lifestyle assessment and suggestions for improvement to diet, environment etc.
